The Automotive Service Technician Apprentice role is onsite at Red Rock Kia in Grand Junction, CO. Compensation is not specified. Working alongside experienced technicians and service professionals, the apprentice develops the skills to diagnose, service, and repair Kia vehicles. The program leads to Kia Service Technician certification and supports eligible veterans through GI Bill-approved apprenticeship benefits.

What you'll do

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems
• perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs using Kia procedures and equipment
• complete repair orders and warranty documentation
• test-drive vehicles and verify repair quality
• communicate with service advisors and shop foremen
• maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment and follow dealership safety procedures.

Why this role

Designed for military veterans with honorable discharge and prior mechanical or technical experience. ASE certifications and technical training are a plus, not required.
