Director, Technology Services (IT)

The Director, Technology Services (IT) role is hybrid in Schaumburg, IL, with onsite work one day per month for employees within 50 miles; out-of-state candidates may be considered for remote work depending on their state. Compensation is $165,000–$185,000 annually. The role supports Association Management Center’s technology services for more than 23 health and science associations and professional societies. The director leads IT operations, engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, service delivery, and vendor management to provide secure, reliable, and scalable technology services. The role aligns technology priorities, risk management, resources, and modernization with business operations and client needs.

What you'll do

• Lead IT operations, help desk performance, service management, infrastructure reliability, business continuity, and disaster recovery
• establish technology documentation and governance standards
• guide architecture, SaaS integration, workflow automation, data architecture, and modernization
• oversee cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, incident readiness, and remediation
• own the IT budget and vendor portfolio
• advise on technology strategy and investments
• lead senior functional leaders and coordinate with client and internal teams.
