The Evening Caregiver, 3-Hour Afternoon Shifts role is onsite in the Bellevue area of Nashville, TN. Pay is $16–$20 per hour. Delora Care, a Helping Hearts Company, provides private home care support for a client recovering at home after an orthopedic procedure. The caregiver provides nonmedical personal support with a strong focus on fall prevention, safe mobility, and preserving the client’s independence. The assignment includes daily afternoon coverage of approximately three hours, with available times of 1–4 p.m., 2–5 p.m., or 3–6 p.m., depending on availability and coverage needs.

What you'll do

• Provide safe ambulation and transfer assistance, including gait-belt use when required
• provide standby assistance for shower entry and exit
• keep the walker within reach and walking paths clear
• prepare dinner
• perform light housekeeping and laundry
• change bed linens
• retrieve household items
• shop for groceries and run approved errands
• provide basic pet care
• document services in WellSky Personal Care
• report falls, near falls, changes in mobility, and other safety concerns promptly.

Why this role

The client requests care seven days per week for approximately three hours each afternoon.
