Pharmacist – Overnight, PRN

The Pharmacist – Overnight, PRN role is onsite in Raleigh, NC, with compensation of $58–$60 per hour. PharMerica is a non-retail pharmacy serving hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, long-term acute care centers, and other specialized care centers nationwide. The pharmacist evaluates medication orders, monitors patient and resident information and relevant laboratory tests, and collaborates with healthcare teams on safe medication use. The role supports accurate, appropriate pharmaceutical care for residents and patients in specialized care settings.

What you'll do

• Evaluate medication orders for drug, dosage, interactions, and route
• recommend therapy changes when appropriate
• maintain patient and resident databases with medical history, clinical and laboratory data, and medication information
• ensure appropriate monitoring tests are ordered and reviewed
• provide clinical and technical support to healthcare teams
• document communications in medical records
• implement safe drug procurement, storage, distribution, use, and disposal procedures
• maintain required regulatory documentation
• report medication errors to the Pharmacy Manager
• assist facility staff with safe medication procedures.
