Development Coordinator

Job overview

The Development Coordinator role is onsite in Bristol, TN/VA, at $18–$20 per hour. The Birthplace of Country Music preserves and promotes Bristol’s musical heritage through its museum, festival, radio station, and educational and community programs. The coordinator provides operational and administrative support for fundraising, sponsorship, membership, donor stewardship, and special events. By maintaining records, coordinating campaigns and events, and supporting donor communications, the role helps the Development Department advance the organization’s philanthropic goals.

What you'll do

• Maintain donor, sponsor, member, and constituent records
• process donations, pledges, acknowledgements, and tax receipts
• generate fundraising and sponsorship reports
• assist with donor engagement and sponsorship administration
• coordinate event invitations, RSVPs, schedules, volunteers, vendors, and logistics
• support donor and fundraising communications
• maintain fundraising website content and materials
• provide administrative support to the Director of Development
• prepare meeting materials, record minutes, and track action items.

Why this role

Requires an associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience and at least two years of relevant experience. Occasional evenings and weekends are required for special events. Experience with Network for Good is strongly preferred.
