Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Danville, VA, and pays $25–$35 per hour. The technician supports AeroFarms’ indoor vertical farming and food production facility as it ramps up to full production. The role maintains and repairs plant equipment and automated systems to reduce interruptions and support reliable production. It works with production colleagues to address equipment issues and maintain baseline operating conditions.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, modify, rebuild, and service plant equipment
• maintain motion-controlled and robotic work-cell systems
• perform preventive maintenance
• diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• maintain PLCs, HMIs, motors, controls, drives, sensors, pumps, and packaging lines
• record maintenance activity in CMMS
• collaborate with production staff
• follow safety procedures and maintain tools.
