What you'll do

• Splice and maintain new and existing fiber
• prepare and splice single-mode and multimode cables
• repair cables using fusion equipment
• terminate fiber with connectors or pigtails
• test with OTDR, OLTS, power meters, and VFL
• install splice capsules and hardware
• perform mid-sheath entries and active-network splicing
• troubleshoot outages and repair damaged cables
• document project progress and test results
• maintain equipment, trailers, and vehicles
• follow applicable safety standards.

Why this role
