Transition Specialist

What you'll do

• Conduct person-centered career assessments
• collaborate with local businesses to create work experiences
• coordinate job shadowing and career exploration
• provide individualized on-site job coaching
• teach job-readiness and workplace skills
• support social connections
• assist with resumes, interview preparation, job searches, and employer outreach
• maintain documentation for school requirements and ORS reporting.

Why this role

A high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are required. An associate or bachelor’s degree and ACRE certification are preferred.
