Marketing Communications Intern

The Marketing Communications Intern position is onsite in Houston, TX. Compensation is $15 per hour. The intern contributes to campaigns and content that promote museum exhibits, events, educational programming, and fundraising initiatives.

What you'll do

• Assist with press releases and media advisories
• research media contacts and maintain media lists
• monitor media coverage and prepare reports
• draft social media content
• write website copy, newsletters, blog articles, and promotional materials
• coordinate photography and videography during events
• support marketing campaigns, research, media visits, interviews, and special events
• organize marketing assets and project timelines.
