The manager leads technical professionals and oversees electric-system planning, design, analysis, mapping, and standards. The work supports system growth and reliability through engineering studies, construction project support, compliance, budgeting, and technical assistance to operations.

What you'll do

• Lead and develop technical professionals
• prepare construction work plans and long-range system plans
• oversee electric-system planning, design, and analysis
• develop and audit transmission and distribution design standards
• maintain mapping, connectivity, and GIS data
• manage pole attachment, joint use, and land-rights matters
• support substation and transmission projects
• ensure standards compliance
• provide engineering support for loading, switching, restoration, and power-quality investigations
• manage budgets
• prepare switching orders
• train and support operations personnel.

Why this role

Professional Engineer registration, a relevant electrical engineering degree or equivalent experience, at least seven years of electric transmission and distribution engineering experience, and Milsoft WindMil experience are required.
