Recreational Facilitator

Job overview

The Recreational Facilitator role is onsite in Mayagüez, PR, and pays $12 per hour. This part-time position supports the Boys & Girls Club’s Operations area and Social Pillar. The facilitator develops and leads educational, sports, and recreation activities that promote health, positive relationships, character development, and leadership. The role also helps maintain safe spaces, encourage participant belonging, and provide mentoring or referrals when appropriate.

What you'll do

• Develop and facilitate educational and recreational activities, sports practices, games, and events
• evaluate participant and team performance and adjust activities
• maintain equipment and work areas
• enforce play and safety rules
• mediate conflicts and support group cohesion
• mentor participants or refer them for possible case management
• participate in Club activities.
