The Sheet Metal Fabricator role is onsite in the listed Maryland location at 60 Loveton, postal code 21152. Pay is $18–$25 per hour. The position supports Rugged Science's production of ruggedized embedded computer systems by fabricating custom metal components.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate a fiber laser cutter, load and unload sheets and cut parts, monitor processing, and deburr parts. Set up and operate a press brake, insert PEM fasteners, use measuring and inspection tools, and perform first-piece verification. Read blueprints and specifications, track material and labor in the Global Shop Solutions ERP system, assist with prototypes and special orders, and provide fabrication feedback to leadership. Operate a laser welder and program and supervise a robotic arm with laser-welder attachment for aluminum military-product parts. A high school education is required
• robotic programming experience is preferred. Overtime may be required and is paid at time and a half.
