What you'll do
- Preload patient charts
- obtain histories, assess current complaints, measure vital signs, order procedures and tests under standard protocols, and document in the electronic medical record
- assist providers with procedures
- perform diagnostic tests
- administer ordered medications and monitor responses
- maintain equipment
- stock, clean, disinfect, and sterilize exam rooms and instruments
- schedule diagnostic and referral appointments
- track test results.
