The Community Doula role is an onsite opportunity based in Duluth, Minnesota, supporting members across Minnesota. Compensation is not specified; payment is based on applicable reimbursable doula services. Malama Health supports pregnant and postpartum Medicaid members and works to improve maternal health outcomes and close equity gaps. The doula provides non-clinical prenatal, labor and birth, and postpartum support tailored to each member’s preferences and needs. The role also documents services, follows privacy and payer requirements, and coordinates with Malama’s care team when needs fall outside the doula’s scope.

What you'll do

• Provide culturally responsive emotional, informational, and physical support during prenatal, labor and birth, and postpartum periods
• document services accurately and promptly
• follow privacy, documentation, quality, and payer requirements
