The Kennel Attendant role is onsite in Sevierville, TN. Compensation is $13–$15 per hour, depending on experience. The role supports daily operations at Tri-County Veterinary Clinic, part of VetEvolve’s network of veterinary practices. The attendant helps maintain the health, comfort, and safety of boarding animals while keeping the hospital environment clean and organized. Daily animal care, careful observation, and support for the veterinary team contribute to smooth clinic operations and a positive boarding experience for clients.

What you'll do

• Feed, water, walk, bathe, and monitor boarded animals
• provide care to hospitalized patients only if applicable and when directed and supervised by the medical team
• transport animals safely between kennels, exam rooms, and the lobby
• assist veterinarians and technicians with restraint, positioning, and minor procedures as directed
• follow feeding, medication, and exercise instructions
• report health or behavioral changes
• clean and disinfect kennels, runs, and facility areas
• greet owners, answer phones, and assist with belongings
• complete opening, closing, and cleaning checklists
• manage kennel and cleaning supplies
• organize deliveries and restock treatment and exam areas.

Why this role

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous kennel, animal-care, or boarding-facility experience preferred. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and safely handle animals up to 130 pounds; schedule availability is needed during all hours the practice is open.
