What you'll do

• Repair, rebuild, and maintain casting and trim dies
• transport, clean, disassemble, and reassemble dies using lift trucks, die-cleaning equipment, and cranes. Build or replace die segments, cores, details, and parts from blueprints
• polish or grind die cavity surfaces
• perform on-machine repairs and welding
• troubleshoot production tooling problems
• complete work orders and records
• maintain an organized work area
• and train new employees in repair techniques and safety.
