The Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician (Relief) role is onsite in San Jose, CA. Compensation is $27–$56 per hour. Veterinary Emergency Group’s mission is to help people and their pets when they need it most through emergency veterinary care. The technician supports emergency teams in delivering care across cases ranging from minor to complex. The role contributes through triage, nursing care, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care support, while providing a steady and compassionate presence for pet parents.

What you'll do

• Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from triage through discharge
• assist with IVs, CRIs, blood transfusions, diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and tube placement
• perform CPR
• support anesthesia and patient monitoring
• use advanced techniques such as central lines, endoscopy, and ultrasounds
• collaborate with doctors and the care team.
