The Senior Systems Administrator, VDI role is onsite in Honolulu, HI. Pay is $60.09 per hour during the initial six-month term, with $130,000 upon conversion. MKS2 Technologies provides cybersecurity, instructional design and training, software engineering, and IT support services to government agencies and other clients.

What you'll do

• Administer and support VDI thin-client networks across classified and non-classified environments
• configure and optimize systems
• deploy and troubleshoot applications and security patches
• monitor and restore system operations
• support end users
• manage access controls and security compliance
• maintain procedures and system documentation
• provide support for VoIP phones and Microsoft Teams
• report system status and incidents.

Why this role

Requires U.S. citizenship, current DoD Top Secret clearance at start, and ability to pass an SSBI investigation for Top Secret/SCI. The posting also requires an active security certification and experience with Windows, VMware, Active Directory, STIG compliance, SCCM, and SANs. After-hours on-call support is required as necessary.
