What you'll do

• Lead, coach, and support automotive technicians
• assist with difficult diagnostic and repair issues
• take the lead on challenging electrical, drivability, mechanical, and technical concerns
• mentor developing technicians
• identify training opportunities
• monitor shop workflow and repair orders
• coordinate with service management, dispatch, advisors, and parts
• help assign work
• monitor appointments and priority vehicles
• perform or oversee quality-control inspections
• reduce comebacks
• improve efficiency and productivity
• stay current on GM technology, procedures, recalls, bulletins, and diagnostics
• help recruit, develop, and retain technicians.
