Maintenance Technician – Multifamily Property

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician – Multifamily Property role is full-time and onsite in San Antonio, TX; pay is $24–$28 per hour. PEM manages multifamily properties and aims to provide clean, safe, and welcoming communities. The technician maintains the physical condition and appearance of a residential community, completing service requests, apartment turnovers, routine maintenance, and repairs. The role supports resident service and property operations while following safety requirements and applicable building codes.

What you'll do

• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in
• complete and document work orders
• maintain grounds, exteriors, amenities, and common areas
• service pools, spas, and fitness areas
• perform basic to intermediate plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance, and mechanical repairs
• identify and report maintenance needs
• follow safety and Fair Housing requirements
• assist with projects, unit turnovers, and vendor coordination
• participate in the after-hours and weekend on-call rotation.
