The Electronics Technician 3, Security and Electronic Systems role is onsite in San Jose, CA, with travel up to 25%. Pay is $32–$46 per hour. M.C. Dean designs, builds, operates, and maintains technology and infrastructure for mission-critical facilities; this position supports its Security and Electronic Systems business unit. The technician installs, maintains, tests, and troubleshoots electronic security and related systems in the field. The role contributes to reliable system operation through safe installation practices, quality checks, commissioning support, documentation, and coordination with project teams and customers.

What you'll do

• Install and maintain system raceways, cabling, racks, enclosures, panels, and field devices
• terminate, test, and configure electronic, network, and IT equipment
• troubleshoot copper and fiber issues and programmable components
• participate in commissioning
• follow safety plans and quality controls
• track project metrics, tools, materials, and time
• communicate with project teams, trades, and customers
• mentor crew members.
