Workplace Support Aide – Newark

The Workplace Support Aide role is an onsite, full-time position in Newark, OH, paying $14–$16 per hour for 36–40 hours per week. The position supports employees with disabilities in Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries’ retail and warehouse settings. The aide provides hands-on guidance and task prompting while helping employees complete work and build independence. By reinforcing job skills and communicating progress or concerns to Career Services and workplace staff, the role supports employees’ participation and workflow.

What you'll do

• Provide hands-on support, task prompting, and guidance to employees with disabilities in retail and warehouse settings
• assist with sorting, tagging, stocking, and production-line tasks as needed
• reinforce job skills taught by Job Coaches
• monitor progress and communicate updates or concerns to the Career Services Specialist and retail staff
• collaborate with management and production leads
• support workplace standards and procedures
• promptly report safety, behavioral, or performance concerns
• attend required meetings and training.
