What you'll do

• Verify imaging orders, patient history, consent, and exam details
• operate CT and X-ray equipment
• adapt techniques to imaging situations
• produce and review diagnostic-quality images
• assemble and send images and paperwork through PACS
• monitor contrast administration and patient safety
• explain procedures and keep patients informed
• clean equipment and follow infection-control precautions.
