What you'll do

• Triage patients and obtain histories
• restrain dogs and cats
• perform venipuncture and place intravenous catheters
• take digital radiographs
• assist with diagnostic procedures and treatments
• prepare for surgery and monitor anesthesia
• prepare surgical equipment for sterilization
• prepare prescriptions and communicate discharge orders
• perform in-house laboratory testing and prepare reference laboratory submissions
• follow safety and aseptic protocols
• communicate with clients about education, appointments, and invoicing
• help maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
