Phlebotomist III – Floater

The Phlebotomist III – Floater role is onsite in Chicago, IL, with pay of $28 per hour. Availability is required between 6:00 AM and 8:30 PM Monday through Friday and on alternating Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The role supports patient services at doctor’s offices and patient service centers as staffing needs dictate. This role collects and processes clinical and forensic specimens while providing patients with clear explanations and a safe, confident experience. Accurate identification, specimen labeling, documentation, and adherence to established procedures support reliable laboratory testing and patient service.

What you'll do

• Collect blood and other specimens, including pediatric and geriatric collections, and prepare specimens for testing.
• Verify patient demographic information and specimen labels, maintain records, and perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Provide a safe, professional patient environment and cover multiple locations as staffing needs require.
