Maintenance Manager — James River Plant

The Maintenance Manager role is onsite at Nexpera’s James River Plant in Richmond, VA. Compensation is $125,000–$150,000 per year. The plant regenerates sulfuric acid and oleum and serves chemical, health care, and pharmaceutical industries. The manager leads the maintenance organization and supports safe, reliable plant operations through work management, staffing, cost control, turnaround planning, and capital project execution. The role also contributes to site leadership, process safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Lead day-to-day maintenance staff and work scheduling
• sustain safety, health, and environmental performance
• drive maintenance best practices and work management
• manage maintenance spending, contracts, labor, materials, and warehousing
• lead biannual turnaround planning and execution
• plan and execute small capital projects and support larger projects
• administer contractor and tenant agreements
• support security, reliability, process safety, and incident investigations
• supervise and develop staff
• serve as Operations Manager backup as needed.
