What you'll do

• Review plans, specifications, geotechnical reports, and bid documents
• perform quantity takeoffs
• estimate labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and production costs
• solicit and evaluate vendor pricing
• prepare estimates and bid proposals
• identify risks and cost impacts
• attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed
• coordinate with operations and project management
• maintain estimating records
• and assist with bid reviews and project turnover.
