Direct Support Worker — Afternoon/Evening Shifts

The Direct Support Worker provides onsite care in client homes in Bunkie, LA, with visits across the service area. Pay is $10.50 per hour. What you'll do

• Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, and toileting
• offer companionship and emotional support
• perform light housekeeping and meal preparation and assist with feeding as needed
• provide medication reminders and accompany clients to appointments
• monitor and report changes in health and well-being
• maintain a safe client environment
• document care
• travel to client homes and assigned visits
• complete required in-service training.

Why this role
