Senior Manager, Operational Excellence

The Senior Manager, Operational Excellence role is onsite in Harrisonburg, VA. Compensation is $85,000–$95,000 per year. The position provides operational leadership for manufacturing, production, and logistics in support of the organization’s mission and long-term sustainability. The role exists to align operational performance with organizational goals, customer requirements, and community impact. It leads production and continuous-improvement work, oversees quality, safety, budgets, and staff development, and collaborates with executive leadership on strategic planning.

What you'll do

• Develop operational strategies and best practices based on 5S and Lean Manufacturing
• direct daily manufacturing and production activities
• establish and monitor KPIs
• lead continuous-improvement initiatives
• manage assets, equipment, and facilities
• oversee production planning, scheduling, workflow, and quality
• support regulatory compliance, quality assurance, ISO 13485 certification, and workplace safety
• manage operational budgets and expenditures
• recruit, train, supervise, and develop operations personnel
• participate in strategic planning and capital-project discussions.
