Recertification Specialist

Recertification Specialist is an onsite, full-time role in Charlotte, NC, scheduled Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Compensation is $19 per hour. The position supports Winterwood’s property management work by administering housing recertifications and related compliance processes.

What you'll do

• Schedule annual recertification appointments and conduct client processing interviews. Verify income, assets, student status, household composition, and supporting documents to determine eligibility
• complete lease signings and submit files for corporate compliance approval. Handle home visits for homebound clients, Section Eight voucher changes, interim processing, housing-review support, and related documentation and calls.
