Advanced CNC Operator

The Advanced CNC Operator is an onsite role in Springfield, MO. Compensation is not specified. SRC Automotive remanufactures engines for the automotive, marine, natural gas and oil, and power systems industries. The operator produces parts to required tolerances for engine assembly by running and setting up machine-shop equipment, inspecting output, and adjusting CNC equipment based on measurement data. The role also supports safe, reliable production and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Operate machine-shop equipment and assembly lines according to written processes and required tolerances
• set up equipment, make offsets, and maintain tooling
• inspect process results
• use CMM reports and gauges to assess and make machine adjustments
• resolve basic production issues and report non-routine failures
• maintain housekeeping and follow safety rules
• perform daily Total Preventive Maintenance
• assist other production areas and continuous-improvement efforts
• work within IATF-16949 processes.
