Dietary Aide

Job overview

The Dietary Aide role is onsite in Utica, MI, and is full-time. Compensation is $16 per hour. The position supports food service operations at a skilled nursing facility so residents receive nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and respectful environment. The aide assists with food preparation, assembles and delivers resident trays according to diet cards, and maintains clean equipment and workspaces. Accurate meal service and sanitation help support residents’ daily care and facility food safety.

What you'll do

• Handle and store food according to facility procedures and safe food handling requirements
• assist with food preparation and tray-line setup
• assemble and verify resident diet trays
• load and deliver trays and scheduled snacks
• report meal refusals and equipment problems
• clean dishes, utensils, equipment, and workspaces
• assist with state inspection preparation and attend survey training.
