What you'll do

• Process calls related to the physician referral call center
• gather missing documentation needed to complete referrals
• liaise with referring primary care offices, patients, and families
• enter patient, guarantor, and insurance information in hospital systems as available
• review and update documents in medical records while maintaining confidentiality
• maintain worklists and task progress
• answer and screen calls, relay messages to specialty clinics, and update referral files
• respond to questions about referrals.
