The Residential Assistant — Homeward Bound Shelter, 7:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. role is onsite in Covington, KY, with compensation of $17–$18 per hour. Brighton Center’s Homeward Bound Shelter serves abused, neglected, and homeless youth ages 11–17 as part of the organization’s mission to help individuals and families reach self-sufficiency. The role provides direct supervision and support to residents, helping them work toward individual goals, build life skills, participate in school, seek employment, and strengthen social-emotional wellbeing.

What you'll do

• Supervise and support youth, including behavior management
• oversee resident and facility safety
• answer hotline calls and provide crisis counseling as needed
• complete shift documentation
• prepare meals
• participate in youth programming
• maintain facility cleanliness
• collaborate with the Treatment Team on youth progress
• attend monthly employee meetings and training as needed.
