The Toddler and Infant Teacher Lead, Senior Staff role is onsite at AlphaBEST Education’s Early Learning Center in Port Tobacco, MD. Compensation is $18 per hour. The center provides early learning and care for infants, toddlers, and preschool children. The teacher creates a safe, nurturing environment and supports children’s development through play-based learning, routines, and engaging activities. The senior staff member also mentors aides and works with families and colleagues to support children’s care and learning.

What you'll do

• Supervise children within sight and sound
• follow licensing, health, hygiene, and safety requirements
• provide care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, dressing, and diaper changes
• assist with potty training when appropriate
• plan and facilitate developmental programming
• conduct and document screenings and assessments
• establish schedules and routines
• mentor and coach aides
• maintain confidential child and family information.
