The Security Dispatcher — USAU role is onsite in Palo Alto, CA, with compensation of $33.43–$37.64 per hour. The schedule is Friday through Monday, 0700–1730. The position supports Stanford Medicine Security Services and its security operations across Stanford Medicine facilities. The dispatcher coordinates real-time responses by monitoring calls, radio traffic, CCTV, alarms, and field personnel. This work helps protect patients, visitors, staff, and assets and supports emergency response across the healthcare environment.

What you'll do

• Answer and triage calls
• dispatch security personnel to emergency and non-emergency incidents
• monitor radio traffic, CCTV, fire and other alarms
• maintain field personnel status and radio contact
• gather caller information and enter incident details into dispatch systems
• maintain accurate logs
• select response levels under established procedures
• respond to security operations center customer requests
• support disaster plan activation
• fill in as a Security Officer when operational needs dictate.
