What you'll do

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations for month-end and year-end close
• maintain general ledger accounts in accordance with GAAP
• support standard costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis
• reconcile bank, intercompany, and balance sheet accounts
• assist with fixed asset accounting
• prepare financial reports and schedules
• support audits
• partner with operations, purchasing, and plant personnel on cost and inventory reporting
• recommend process improvements.
