The CAD/CAM CNC Specialist role is onsite in Rochester, MI. Compensation is not specified. The role programs toolpaths and sets up and operates CNC machines to produce precision tooling. It contributes to moldmaking quality and throughput through accurate programming, machine prove-outs, and collaboration with shop teammates.

What you'll do

• Produce CAD/CAM programs for 2D features and 3D surfaces
• set up and prove out CNC jobs
• optimize work for quality and throughput
• operate Makino, Fidia, and DMG machines
• use Heidenhain and Fanuc controls, laser tool setting, and machine macros
• use overhead cranes and forklifts safely as needed.
