Facility Engineer

Job overview

The Facility Engineer role is onsite in Boston, MA, with pay of $33.49 per hour. The position supports facilities for The ’Quin House, a private social club focused on community, hospitality, programming, food and beverage, and philanthropy. The engineer maintains building systems and coordinates maintenance and vendor work across assigned properties, helping keep facilities safe, functional, and in good working order for members, tenants, and staff.

What you'll do

• Maintain building systems including HVAC, steam and chillers, water treatment, electrical, lighting, plumbing, and carpentry
• complete property rounds and work orders
• monitor preventive maintenance, fire safety, and risk management schedules
• inspect systems and work areas
• coordinate and monitor vendors and contractors
• maintain system records, manuals, and inventory
• develop scopes and bids for engineering services or capital projects
• respond to building emergencies and cover shifts and vacations on-call.

Why this role

The posting requires 2+ years of operational experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Massachusetts Refrigerant Technician and First Class Engineers licenses are preferred. On-call coverage is part of the role.
