Estimator — Civil and Vertical Construction

What you'll do

• Review contract, technical, civil/site, and architectural documents
• solicit competitive vendor bids
• quantify labor, materials, equipment, production time, and transportation costs
• prepare quantity takeoffs and detailed estimates
• evaluate alternatives and value engineering
• review estimates with leadership
• attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and bid openings
• improve shared estimating processes
• assess bid risks
• and travel to jobsites throughout Florida.
