Painter — Dump Bodies

The position exists to prepare and paint dump bodies and parts to support production of durable truck bodies. It contributes through surface preparation, coating, material handling, equipment maintenance, and compliant hazardous-material disposal.

What you'll do

• Sand and prepare dump bodies
• prime and undercoat bodies and parts
• spray paint and touch up products
• mix paint for special colors when needed
• coordinate movement of dump bodies
• dispose of hazardous materials according to EPA regulations
• cross-train with chipper/blaster
• operate painting and material-handling equipment
• perform preventive maintenance as assigned
• wear required PPE and complete applicable hazardous-material training.

Why this role
