Direct Counsel is recruiting for an Am Law firm’s commercial mortgage securitization practice. The attorney supports complex commercial mortgage-backed securities and capital markets transactions through legal analysis, drafting, diligence, and closing coordination. The role works directly with clients and transaction teams throughout the transaction lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Support commercial mortgage securitization and capital markets transactions
• draft and review disclosure documents and offering materials for CMBS offerings
• advise clients on commercial real estate finance matters
• conduct legal research and provide structured finance guidance
• review loan documentation and assist with diligence
• collaborate with clients and transaction teams
• assist with transaction management and closing coordination.
