The Environmental Services Director is an onsite leadership role based in Charlotte, NC, with a salary range of $95,000–$105,000 per year. This position supports the Aramark Healthcare+ team at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) by ensuring high standards of cleanliness and operational excellence. This role exists to provide strategic and operational oversight for environmental services within a large, complex acute-care hospital. The Director is responsible for managing frontline staff, driving performance metrics, and maintaining regulatory compliance to support patient experience and safety.

What you'll do

• Plans, controls and directs all cleaning, sanitizing and waste removal functions within a healthcare facility to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives and customer needs.
• Provides overall ownership and accountability of operational management and financial performance of the unit.
• Models key leadership behaviors and ensures the highest levels of safety, quality and service excellence for employees, clients and consumers.
• Coaches employees, identifies and engages top talent, and develops team members to their fullest potential.
• Establishes and maintains effective client and customer rapport.
• Manages budget including cost controls with regard to labor, supply, and inventory.
• Implements and maintains GM agenda for labor and total quality management requirements.
