What you'll do

• Partner with the Director of Nursing on daily operations
• review 24-hour reports and lead responses to resident changes, incidents, medication errors, and family concerns
• round across shifts
• lead infection control and quality assurance activities
• oversee admissions and Medicare/PPS processes
• support state surveys
• develop staffing plans, hire and review nurses, oversee in-service education, provide on-call leadership support or designate coverage, and step in as Charge Nurse when needed.
