• Strategically source and procure materials, components, and services for production
• evaluate demand and MRP data and create purchasing plans
• investigate inaccuracies
• assess suppliers and negotiate pricing and terms
• manage supplier performance and resolve issues
• prepare purchasing and supplier reports
• create purchase orders
• coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, logistics, and warehouse teams
• and maintain compliant procurement records.
