What you'll do

• Operate assigned CNC equipment on established jobs
• load programs and locate setup documentation
• verify tools and workholding
• assist with or perform authorized repeat setups
• replace worn inserts or approved tools and make authorized routine offsets
• complete startup, shutdown, changeover, and shift handoffs
• read drawings and job documentation
• perform and document in-process inspections
• report quality or process concerns
• maintain ERP labor, quantity, scrap, and job-status information
• follow machine-shop safety requirements and maintain an orderly work area.
