What you'll do
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
- perform triage and take vital signs
- obtain and document patient histories in the EMR
- collect routine lab specimens
- administer medications and non-IV injections
- start IVs, place catheters, and perform splinting when needed
- perform clinical and laboratory procedures
- assist with occupational medicine testing
- maintain HIPAA and OSHA compliance
- perform administrative tasks
- support quality assurance and CLIA-waived laboratory requirements
- travel to other Prisma Health Urgent Care locations as required.
