Lead Behavioral Health Technician

Job overview

The Lead Behavioral Health Technician role is onsite in West Kill, NY. Pay is $22–$25 per hour. The role supports BriteLife Recovery’s behavioral health team and its mission to provide a safe, empathetic foundation for clients and families beginning recovery.

What you'll do

• Assist the BHT Supervisor in coordinating on-shift technicians and daily responsibilities
• help coordinate admissions, discharges, client activities, bag searches, and rounds
• monitor paperwork
• train new employees
• serve as liaison between technicians and the supervisor
• ensure incident reports are completed properly
• assist with client outings and staffing
• support audits of rounds, admissions, discharges, procedures, and training needs
• maintain client confidentiality
• and perform BHT duties on the floor.
