The Field Service Technician 4 — Heavy Equipment role is onsite in Irving, TX, serving the Dallas–Fort Worth region. Pay is $24.04–$46.16 per hour. The technician supports HOLT CAT, the largest Caterpillar dealer of heavy construction equipment in the United States. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m.–5 p.m., with overtime required as needed. The role performs field repairs and diagnostics on heavy construction equipment, helping customers restore equipment operation and meet service needs. The position requires travel, with possible overnight stays.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy construction equipment, including emissions, hydraulic, engine, transmission, HVAC, and electrical systems
• document work orders and service reports
• remove, install, disassemble, and assemble components
• test and verify repairs
• order parts
• communicate progress to supervisors and customers
• maintain service vehicles and tools
• follow safety, contamination-control, and HAZMAT requirements
• and mentor or coach technicians. More than four years of heavy equipment experience and the ability to use CAT ET and CAT SIS 2.0 are required.
