After-Hours Crisis Responder

The After-Hours Crisis Responder role is field-based in Aurora, IL, with on-call/per-event compensation ranging from $50–$120 per shift. The role supports Aunt Martha’s Comprehensive Community Based Youth Services program within Integrated Community Based Services. The responder provides immediate crisis intervention to youth facing unsafe or unstable circumstances, working toward stabilization, safety planning, diversion from juvenile justice involvement, and reunification or short-term placement when appropriate.

What you'll do

• Respond to referrals by phone within 15 minutes and arrive within 60 minutes in urban areas or 90 minutes in rural areas
• serve designated Illinois regions
• complete crisis intake documentation and enter activity in CareLogic within two hours
• support family reunification or appropriate placement with supervisor approval
• coordinate referrals and resources
• remain accessible by cell phone during scheduled on-call shifts
• follow mandated reporting requirements and agency protocols.
